A professional equine massage is a specific manual treatment focused on loosening the horse's muscles, releasing tension and supporting overall wellbeing. It combines various techniques from physiotherapy and manual therapy to increase mobility, ease pain and support recovery, and more.
Where needed, I also bring in other methods to complement the treatment, such as medical laser therapy and BEMER physical vascular therapy. Kinesiology taping and lymphatic massage are to follow.
Equine therapy
A travel fee of SEK 35 per 10 km applies for the round trip from Pauliström. When several horses are treated at the same stable, the travel costs are shared between the horse owners. For riding schools, studs and other equestrian businesses with several horses, please contact me for an individual quote. I am a member of Svenska Friskvårdsförbundet and hold liability and treatment injury insurance. My business is approved for F-tax in Sweden. All prices for private clients include VAT. Business clients, please contact me for pricing or an individual quote. Payment can be made via Swish or invoice.
Before the treatment
The horse must be dry and clean for the massage to be carried out.
When I do not treat
Fever, infections, bacterial illness, acute fractures or pregnancy.
Waiting time
After worming and vaccination, a waiting time of 7 days applies to each.
Laser therapy for horses
A medical laser treatment is an important complement in my work as an equine therapist. It helps the body to heal by reaching deep into the tissue, increasing circulation and calming inflammation. This means the horse can gain faster and more lasting relief from pain.
Laser is especially valuable for muscle tension, tendon injuries, joint problems and slow wound healing. Thanks to its gentle and precise action, the treatment becomes a natural and almost indispensable support for the horse's recovery and wellbeing.
For animals
When treating animals, the Mid-Lite 904 laser is used, for example, for muscle relaxation, wound healing, tissue regeneration, calming inflammation and easing pain.

Using the Bemer® Horse-Set during my treatment as an equine therapist gives valuable support to the horse's continued recovery. By improving microcirculation and supporting the cells' natural processes, the body can more easily relax, recover and carry away waste products.
It also helps the muscles to soften and helps maintain the effect of the manual treatment.
